First of all, our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience you had to go through due to an emergency maintenance and data recovery.

There has been an issue with item drops from all fields and instance dungeons, for the options concerning item drops following the weekly maintenance for May 18th (Thur) were applied incorrectly.

And upon checking the internal data during the emergency maintenance, we observed a total of 40 users across our servers who have made inappropriate use of such error.

We confirmed from these users’ item/gold transaction records that they have obtained several high-class items in addition to common items. And it was determined that we need indefinite amount of time in order to bring about the essential measurements to fix this issue, such as retrieving the items, which will cause inconvenience to your gameplay.

So we decided – as much as it was a difficult decision – that rather than restricting your access to the servers, it would be better to recover the server data worth 3 hours before making the servers fully available, for which it would be necessary to recover the data back to what they used to be before the weekly maintenance.

Once again, our deepest apologies for those of you who have lost precious equipment or enhanced items following our decision.

We are aware how much disappointment data recovery would bring upon gamers (we should know, as we love our product). Nevertheless, we’d like to ask for your understanding that we had to make the best decision in order to optimize the game environment.

Rest assured, we will take greater caution in inspecting and handling balance-affiliated data before we proceed with our updates, and we will also renew our update process to provide you with better service.

Also, upon checking all account data including the data for the 40 users mentioned above, we confirmed that no user owns more than 100 million gold, and below is the number of accounts we believe to have profited from the issue we are discussing in this notice.

We are fully aware that no reward will be able to cover your loss and inconvenience from data recovery. However, we bring you the details on the compensations we have prepared to make up for your loss.

■ Compensation for access

1. For : character accounts that were logged in between May 18th, 2023, 3:00 – 6:00 P.M.

2. Contents : 300,000 gold + 20 phantom spheres + 2000 wood materials + 2000 stone materials

3. To be given at : in the order following the emergency maintenance, before May 21st, 2023
(Updated on 5/19 (Fri)) Compensation will be sent in two separate parcels and will be awarded to the character that was first logged into on the account. 

■ Compensation for purchasing items

1. For : accounts that purchased MCASH between May 18th, 2023, 3:00 – 6:00 P.M.

2. Contents : all purchases will be refunded

■ Compensation for emergency maintenance

1. Contents : 10 phantom spheres

2. To be given at : in the order following the emergency maintenance, before May 21st, 2023

As a result of the data restoration, the experience reward items that were provided during the maintenance on May 18th will be reissued.

The experience reward items will be sent via in-game mail to the first character you log in with. Please pay attention to the character selection screen when logging in.
